We walked streets east of Seward Park Avenue S between Seward Park and Martha Washington Park. We passed lovely homes
and gardens
- some of the homes were on the lake.
Martha Washington Park
has a large open field,
water access
and, weather permitting, a great view of Mount Rainier.
This is a quiet, upscale, residential neighborhood
where we spotted a few vegetable gardens
and some trees with interesting trunks.
It was a great walk on which to reach the 2,000 mile mark.
