The Arboretum in Bloom

My husband and I took a 2.9 mile stroll in the Washington Park Arboretum today. I'm not counting the miles in my total because I've already walked the streets inside the Arboretum. I am posting because the Arboretum in bloom is spectacular.

Together with many other visitors, we walked along Azalea Way, admiring azaleas and rhododendrons in bloom.

One view was more spectacular than another

and we even saw Mason Bees flying into and out of one of the boxes placed throughout the Arboretum in an effort to increase pollination.

We spotted a garden under construction adjacent to the Australia section of the Pacific Connections Garden and assume that it is the next phase of that garden.

This is the time of year to visit Azalea Way!

    1. Thanks, Linda. It's been quite a journey and it's not over yet. I do take time off to travel and to take care of family affairs so don't worry if you don't see any posts once in a while. I'm not sure what I'll do when I've walked every street in the city - probably go back and enjoy the parks.
