Woodland Park Zoo

Our daughter and 19 month old grandson were visiting so we took a few days off from our neighborhood walks for more kid-friendly activities.

Sunday's weather kept us mostly indoors so we went to Seattle Children's Museum at Seattle Center. Everyone had a good time (including the four adults who accompanied the toddler). There are lots of hands-on activities for kids of all ages.

Monday. we went to the Woodland Park Zoo and walked about 3.5 miles along the paths to the exhibits. It was a cool day and some of the animals were probably trying to keep warm but we did see many of them.

King County seniors should get Mayor's Gold Passes before going to the zoo - they can cut 75% off the admission fee.
