McGraw and 10th are wide streets scattered with neighborhood stores.
The rest of the streets are quiet and residential. Homes on the western edge are large and have views. There are some multiple family dwellings and lots of single family homes.
We passed a Copper Beech Heritage Tree, palm trees,
cobble stones streets, alleys and divided avenues where the east side of the avenue was much higher than the west side.
This area is home to Queen Anne Lutheran Church, Seattle Children's Home, Queen Anne Presbyterian Church (pictured in a prior post) and Macrina Bakery.
We saw well-tended gardens and lots of people out, especially near the shops.
