Rain caused us to have a late start today so my husband and I only walked 4.1 miles but we enjoyed our stroll through the Sunset Hill neighborhood. We walked streets from NW 65th to NW 75th Street between 28th and 32nd Avenues NW.
This is a lovely residential neighborhood with sidewalks, curbs and beautiful gardens.
Most of the homes are older with nice architectural detail.The avenues are wide and don't have many trees but the streets have lots of low to medium height trees which are beautiful at this time of year.
We spotted yard art,
rain gardens,
vegetable patches,
a skateboard jump,
a studio renting space, palm trees
and a unicycle on a porch.
This area is home to Webster Park,
the the Sunset Hill Community Club and Nordic Heritage Museum.
