Today, my husband and I ventured into Magnolia to walk some streets south and east of Discovery Park. Our 6 mile walk took us along all the streets from W Emerson to W Barrett Street between 31st and 36th Avenues W.
This is a hilly neighborhood with 34th Avenue being the low point and the cross streets climbing on either side. There is a Bill the Butcher Shop on 34th.
This is a very tidy neighborhood of well-kept homes, mostly modest in size but with a number of larger remodels.
This area is home to West Magnolia Playfield,
a Jahovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall
and a City Light installation.
We successfully navigated around the dinosaurs.
