Southeast Magnolia and Interbay

The sun came out shortly after my husband and I started today's 5.7 mile walk in the Southeast Magnolia and Interbay neighborhoods.

These are residential areas; both are quiet but they are different.

The Magnolia area has mostly neat, single family homes while the Interbay area has lots of apartments and condos. There are single family homes but some of these are being replaced by apartments or townhouses.

The Magnolia area has peek-a-boo views of Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline

while the Interbay area looks out on the skyline but also the industrial lots and warehouses north of Terminal 91.

This area is home to the Twelfth Church of Christ Scientist,

a decorated bus shelter,

hills and staircases.

We observed lots of interesting cloud formations on today's walk but no rain!
